Dr. Zandra Cheng is the Medical Director and part of the surgical team at the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness. She is trained in the latest techniques in breast care, including minimally invasive procedures. Whether you have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer or you are experiencing other conditions such as breast pain, please call to schedule your appointment or call your primary care doctor for a referral.

Dr. Cheng works closely with the entire team at the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness, to provide world-class care. That team includes radiologists, technologists, breast health navigators, oncologists, and genetic counselors. Dr. Cheng joined the staff of Griffin Hospital as Medical Director of the Griffin Hospital Center for Breast Wellness in August 2010. She is board-certified in General Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is accredited in breast ultrasound by the American Society of Breast Surgery. Dr. Cheng comes to Griffin from Annapolis, Maryland, where she has spent the past six years at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, one of only 33 accredited breast surgery fellowships programs in the country, serving the needs of more than 500 breast cancer patients annually. While there, she completed her breast surgery fellowship, joined the Medical Center staff as an attending breast surgeon, and served as faculty for the fellowship program. She has extensive experience with oncoplastic surgical techniques, cryoablation of breast tumors, and positron emission mammography.
